Show off dog costumes at Menifee’s Dog Daze event

Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District’s eighth annual Dog Daze Canine Festival and Costume Contest will be held 9-11 a.m. Oct. 1 at Aldergate Dog Park in Menifee.

The free event will include contests, raffles and vendors. In the costume contest, there will be trophies for Cutest, Scariest, Best and Judges’ Choice costumes and a new category this year, Best Human/Pet costumes, according to a news release.

The park is at 28688 Aldergate Drive.
